PEDESTRIAN SAFETY
To prioritise pedestrian safety part of our masterplan was to divert traffic underneath Chester road, allowing pedestrians and cyclists to roam freely above.
GREEN SPACE
Along the pedestrian walkway we plan to replace the existing road with green areas to improve the experience of travelling through the busy junction and make the site a more inviting place for new comers travelling in from the tram.
As the busy junction at Chester road experiences a lot of circulation, part of our masterplan was to focus on converting this space into a town square for people to gather and meet up.
